2. General
This website is deliberately data-minimal: it sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no advertising networks. No account or registration is possible or needed.
3. Server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information your browser transmits and which is technically necessary to display the site: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless operation and security of the website. The data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after a short period.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by a service provider that processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
5. Fonts
This website uses locally stored fonts. No connection to Google servers or other third parties is established to load fonts, and your IP address is not transmitted to them.
6. Google Maps
On the "Location" page we offer a Google Maps map (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is not loaded automatically; you first see a placeholder only. Only when you actively click it is the map loaded, transferring your IP address and further browser data to Google, possibly including a transfer to the USA. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by clicking and may withdraw at any time by leaving or reloading the page. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Links to external providers
For booking enquiries we link to NOVASOL and for reviews to Google. These links are only called up when you click them. From that point on, the respective provider's privacy policy applies exclusively; we have no influence over their data processing.
8. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we process your details solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
9. Your rights
You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You may object at any time to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR), and you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
10. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.
